Windsurfing - Hot Tips

Connor GBR678 & Kai GBR679

Always check your lines before you get on the water

Always go for a bigger sail than you first think you need

Always wear a helmet, no matter what pressure you feel from other people, once you've had a mast hit your head you will be convinced

Never give up your spirit, if you are having a bad session, come in, have a chocolate bar and a drink and when you go out again it will be mega

Never say ''I can't''

Always listen to other peoples advice, you don't have to do what they recommend, but you might want to try whatever they suggest

Be a good sports-person and congratulate others even when you didn't win

Never underestimate someone on an old board, it probably means they've been sailing longer than you

Always keep one eye out for any other sailors who might be in trouble on the water

Don't hesitate to ask for advice or help if you are struggling - all windsurfers are approachable and helpful
