Prasonisi, Rhodes - September 2006 Jem Hall's Clinic was the reason for the visit to Rhodes. Prasonisi is about as far away from the airport as you can get, which is a good thing, and a wind & kite surfing Mecca without the distractions of trivial tourist paraphernalia. It is a unique set up with a sand bar between the mainland and an island creating a wind accelerator and providing waves on one side of the beach and a flat area on the other. We stayed at the Lighthouse 2 in a studio, which was basic, but excellent, with the additional benefit of cooking facilities to ensure Connor received enough pasta to keep him on the water. We ate at the Lighthouse for breakfast and dinner and the food was 1st class. Jem was on form and pushed, pulled and cajoled everyone to new levels, so a big thank you to him. The rental centre which unfortunately only stocked JP and NP kit gave great service and safety cover. Apologies to Connors sponsors, Seasprite, RRD Boards, Ezzy Sails and Surfstore for the photo's of him on a competitors kit, but as this was our first real trip windsurfing abroad, we left our kit at home, so as consolation here are some more logos.
