Military Odyssey 2004, Detling, Kent

Military Odyssey is a three day event held over the August Bank Holiday weekend. It is a multi-period extravaganza, with many attractions including displays, battles and demonstrations. Eras represented included Stone Age, World War Two, Napoleonic War, American Civil War, World War One, and English Civil War to name but a few.

The replica Tiger Tank leads the German convoy out to the battle Followed closely by a Hetzer self-propelled gun The Tiger is built on the chassis of a Russian T55 tank At the weekend it was crewed by members of The Axis Forces Re-enactment Association AFRA's display had the tiger as it's centrepiece
